Inspired by Johnny Marr, The Smiths..Musically at least ! A tale of not being able to let go of a love. This was the first song I recorded for the album..I had the guitar intro and the chords and melody, but just couldn't get the first line of lyrics ! Mental block that happens now and then ..Once I had the first line, I knew exactly what the song was to be about, and it happened pretty naturally after that ! I had a wander round Mcr city centre as lockdown was eased a bit in the summer and tried to get my daughter to look moody for a cheap vid !
